My packages are perfect for the DIY couple who need someone to pull their vision together and execute it to perfection. What is a Wedding Coordinator?
As a wedding coordinator, I will usually start actively helping with your wedding 4 weeks prior to the wedding day. To get familiar with your wedding plans, usually 2-3 meetings are needed to go through the itinerary, to see to last minute details, and review what has been discussed with vendors. These meetings are vital to communicate your vision and expectations for your special day. Along with this preparation is being present at (or running!) your wedding rehearsal, so that everyone is on the same page when it comes to the ceremony.
On the wedding day (weekend), the main role of the Day-Of Coordinator is to ensure that your plans are carried out smoothly and to discreetly handle any problems that may arise. This also means you can arrive to a perfectly set up ceremony and reception, since we will have already arrived in advance to make sure it is set up properly. We also liaison with the venue, food manager, rentals, DJ, photographer, etc. We then make sure the reception runs smoothly and on-time and any clean up needed is taken care of.
Review contracts of vendors you have selected to make sure you are getting what you need/want.
